Assignment 03

: One Light

There were limitations due to using only one light.
But I think we found several ways to make different atmospheres.
By using the length between light and subject, different material of reflectors, and of course the position of light.


1. Jemma

Jemma remind us of pure and neat image.
So, we simply set the light slightly above her head, and set reflector(white sheet) at the bottom.
To lighten her face.

On the contrary, we took more dramatic picture.

Setting the light at the bottom so that she look disturbing.

2. Sukshma

We think that Sukshma has really direct personality.

So we set the light right in front, but slightly above of her.

On the contrary, we try to make it softer image.

But If we put diffuser, the light's power gets too low.

So, we put the light back of her and try to show some of her face detail with reflector(white sheet).

3. JI HOON

My team told me that I look like a really cold person. Not revealing myself.

So, we set the light at the right side so that it makes high contrast.

On the contrary, we set the light on the left side and put reflector(shinny) at the bottom to emphasize the smiley face.

4. Ki

We thought Ki is kind easy going person.

So, we set the light far from him so that we can get more flat image.

On the contrary, we set the light on his right side. But slightly behind him.

So we wanted to make it look serious look.
