Assignment 01
:Inverse Square Law
Jihoon, Jemma and Sukshma
1. We took photos applying the inverse square law.
We set the three 18% grey cards 1ft distance between each other. And set the distance from the light to the middle grey card 2ft, 4ft, 8ft, 16ft and 32ft. We only manipulated the shutter speed to make the middle grey same no matter what distance between light and the middle grey.
The intensity of the light = 1/distance2
2ft→4ft 1/22
4ft→8ft 1/24
8ft→16ft 1/26
16ft→32ft 1/28
Single ambient light source which is 2ft away form the middle grey card 1/30, f/9, ISO 100 |
Single ambient light source which is 4ft away form the middle grey card 1/8, f/9, ISO 100 |
Single ambient light source which is 8ft away form the middle grey card 1/2, f/9, ISO 100 |
Single ambient light source which is 16ft away form the middle grey card 2, f/9, ISO 100 |
Single ambient light source which is 32ft away form the middle grey card 8, f/9, ISO 100 |
2. We set three cards in order of Black, Grey, and White. And we manipulated the distance between those three cards to make three cards 18% grey.
1/15, f/4, ISO 400 |
